In view of the stress in children during the lockdown, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released a four-week academic calendar from 9th to 12th after primary classes. This includes teaching methods and techniques in online classes. The calendar for experience-based learning includes arts, physical education and yoga. In this lockdown, children will be told how to relieve stress and remove anxiety. Hindi, English, Urdu and Sanskrit languages â€‹â€‹have also been added to the calendar. It has uploaded the study material available on e-Pathshala, NROER and Diksha portal. All options are suggested in the calendar. Schools can make changes accordingly. Technology and social media have been given prominence when creating the calendar with NCERT. This will increase the interest of students towards studies. In the process, parents, teachers and students can connect with each other through WhatsApp, Facebook, Tweet, Telegram, Google Mail and Google Hangouts. Divyang is also included in the calendar. Children with disabilities will be informed with the help of audio books, radio programs etc.
The National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) has extended the online application process for Common Entrance Exam CEE till May 30. Earlier, the last date for online application was 4 May. Candidates can apply online at cee.ncert.gov.in. The NCERT conducts general admission programs for admission to various teacher education programs offered by the Regional Institute of Education.
